SUGAR LAND, TX — Sachin Gopalakrishnan, a 2026 point guard from Fort Bend Stephen F Austin High School in Texas and an Invictus Red Storm standout, has committed to the FDU Florham Devils. A strong lefty lead guard with a college ready frame, Sachin brings downhill creation, three level scoring, and high level pick and roll playmaking that translates to the next level. He plays with pace and physicality, consistently putting defenders on his hip and creating clean advantages for himself and his teammates.
Downhill lefty creator with real pace and physicality
Sachin is at his best when he is getting downhill. He uses screens well, occasionally rejects them, and plays with great pace to keep defenders off balance. Once he has an advantage, he leans into contact, keeps his man attached, and finishes plays with strength and control. His ability to apply pressure in both transition and the half court makes him a constant problem for defenses.
Three level scorer and high IQ pick and roll playmaker
Sachin can score from all three levels, getting to the rim, midrange, and the three point line with confidence. He has a good floater, creative touch around the basket, and the ability to finish with either hand.
