Two Twelve Academy wing Isaiah Hanna Funmaker commits to Blackhawk Technical College

SARASOTA, FLORIDA — Isaiah Hanna Funmaker, a shooting guard who completed a postgraduate year at Two Twelve Academy in Sarasota, Florida after attending Wisconsin Dells High School in Wisconsin, has committed to Blackhawk Technical College. A strong athlete and fiery competitor, Isaiah brings straight line drive driving ability, efficient finishing, and transition speed that consistently puts stress on the defense. He plays with passion, sprints the floor, and impacts the game in many ways including rebounding on both ends, disruptive defense and 3 level scoring ability.

Explosive transition threat with real athletic finish

Isaiah is extremely dangerous in transition because of his speed, burst, and willingness to run the floor every possession. He attacks the rim with force, finishes with either hand, and can elevate through contact. His ability to turn rebounds and stops into immediate pressure makes him a constant problem for defenses that are not set.

Efficient downhill scorer who plays with intensity

In the half court, Isaiah does a great job keeping his movements tight and decisive. One jab and he goes, one dribble move and he goes, which allows his athleticism to rise to the surface. He can finish off one foot or two feet, shows touch and control around the rim, and has a solid stroke from three to keep defenders honest. Off the ball he cuts hard, crashes the offensive glass, and plays bigger than his size by refusing to get boxed out.

National Exposure Through Real Hoops

Isaiah’s recruiting process gained momentum through his continued development and the competitive environment of his postgraduate season. With consistent production, high motor effort, and a clear identity as an athletic two way wing, he positioned himself for the right opportunity at Blackhawk Technical College.

Real Hoops CEO Kevin Driscoll on Isaiah’s commitment

Isaiah has made real strides as a player because he brings an uncommon motor and a willingness to do the work every day,” said Kevin Driscoll, CEO of Real Hoops. “His game has become more efficient and more purposeful, especially as a downhill attacker who finishes with either hand and impacts possessions with effort plays. With his athleticism, competitiveness, and physical style, he has a bright future as a college player and will keep getting better.

A Major Addition for Blackhawk Technical College

Isaiah gives Blackhawk a tough, athletic wing who can pressure the rim in straight lines and finish through contact. His transition speed, cutting, and relentless effort on the offensive glass create extra possessions and easy points. With his defensive quickness, active hands, and competitive edge, he brings an energy and intensity level that helps teams win.
